Seaton Carew set to host Junior ABA Championships

This Sunday the Mayfair JD Sports Domes is to host the England Boxing Junior ABA Championships as regional boxers partake in the finals of the national competition.

Some sixteen bouts are scheduled to take place with boxers from amateur clubs across the region participating.

“These are or future champions, where it all begins for lads, and lasses, who aim to make something of themselves in boxing,” a said Tracey Saunders.

“This is a big deal as it’s not a normal club show and there’s thirty clubs or more involved in it.”

“For me this the best venue in the north-east I’ve had the pleasure of working shows in and it caters for other sports and events such as weddings, engagements and the like as well thus offering the full package.

“It’s only £10 entry and you can see some top quality, sporting action and witness what the future holds in this noble sport.”

Sponsored by The Mayfair and JD Sports the doors open at 11am with a weigh-in between 10 and 12 and the boxing will run between 1-6pm, entry for the event is £10 and the venue is the Mayfair JD Sports Domes, Tees Road, Seaton Carew.
