A North East headquartered digital agency is to widen its remit in both the UK and the United States.

Shout Digital, which already operates its business development functions from offices in London, says it is in advanced stages of adding day-to-day client delivery capabilities to the team there. At the same time it is adding business development and client-fronting staff to a new office in Philadelphia on the East coast of the United States.

The move is in response to what Shout CEO, Gary Boon says is the natural evolution of the agency and reflects the organisation’s diverse and growing client base.

He explained: “This is a natural progression for us.  It’s indicative of the geographical nature of the work we’re delivering for our clients.  Until now, it has made sound business sense to service these clients from here in Newcastle, but the workload and opportunities, both in London and in the States means we’re expanding our physical and visible presence in both.”

Shout already has an office in Shoredich in London and says it has identified an iconic location in Philadelphia, just yards from its famous City Hall, where it will start to service is clients on that side of the Atlantic.

Boon, who established the agency in 2009, says they have more than doubled their client billings in the last two years by delivering game-changing and revolutionary digital solutions to its clients. “We’re improving their digital efficiency and profitability and, in many cases, raising the bar for our clients’ industry standards. Our work covers the globe. As well as clients right here in the North East, we are delivering projects across Europe, the States and Asia and China.”

Shout, which has more than 30 staff, has worked on major digital platform builds for the likes of Great Run Training, St. Ermin’s Hotel in central London and global financial security experts, CPP. In addition, it has developed smartphone app solution in a range of sectors across property, construction and leisure.
