Simon Bailes accepts ‘Mission Christmas’ to help needy children

Simon Bailes Peugeot has pledged to help Father Christmas deliver presents to thousands of underprivileged children this Christmas.

The business is supporting the TFM Mission Christmas Toy Appeal again this year by acting as a collection and drop off point for toys at all three of its dealerships and its Northallerton Body Shop until Monday 19th December.

The appeal aims to provide some Christmas cheer to 45,000 underprivileged children and their families across Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire.

The team at Simon Bailes will also be having some festive fun on Friday 16th December by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day where they can donate a gift. In addition to many of the staff generously supporting the Mission Christmas Toy Appeal they are also donating an hour’s wages from the last working day of the year.

Simon Bailes said: “This is an excellent opportunity to provide some festive joy to families who are struggling through no fault of their own. I’d encourage customers to dig deep and think about buying an extra present or two for needy youngsters this Christmas. People can drop their unwrapped gifts into any of our three dealerships at Northallerton, Stockton or Guisborough or our Northallerton Body Shop.”

Amiee Littlefair, Charity Executive at TFM Cash for Kids. “Every year we receive an astonishing amount of applications for gifts, this year we are hoping to help 45,000 local children. The support we receive every year is overwhelming and we couldn’t complete our mission without companies like Simon Bailes Peugeot helping.

“We appeal to the public to donate new, unwrapped gifts and leave it at one of our drop off locations across the area or donate funds which will go towards securing specialist equipment for those in need.”
