- Enyaq takes top honours in What Car? Used Car Awards, named overall winner

- Judges on both titles praise Škoda’s value for money and practicality
Milton Keynes, 6 November 2025: Škoda has reinforced its reputation for exceptional long-term quality and value, after securing two major used-car awards in the space of just one week. The back-to-back accolades highlight the brand’s continued strength in the pre-owned market, recognising Škoda’s commitment to reliability, customer satisfaction and outstanding ownership experience. These latest honours further cement Škoda’s position as a trusted choice for buyers seeking quality and peace of mind in the used-vehicle sector.
Confirming its status as one of the best-value used family SUVs on the market, the Karoq has been named Used Car of the Year in the annual Parkers New Car Awards. The judging panel praised the Karoq’s all-round abilities, highlighting the SUV’s family-friendly features and exceptional value for money as a used buy.
Commenting on the Karoq’s win, Parkers Editor Keith Adams said: “The Karoq is the used car that does everything well. It’s comfortable, solidly built and reassuringly dependable, with the space and practicality families need. Prices have become really attractive, which makes it one of the smartest buys on the market right now – a car that proves quality and value can go hand in hand.”
The Karoq’s win comes just days after Škoda scooped no fewer than three major victories at the What Car? Used Car Awards – including the coveted overall Used Car of the Year for the Enyaq.
Škoda’s multi-award-winning electric family SUV added to its remarkable collection of industry accolades by securing the Used Electric SUV of the Year along with the overall title. Completing a hat-trick of awards for Škoda, the Kamiq also topped its category, winning the Used Small SUV of the Year.
Explaining why the Enyaq took the overall Used Car of the Year award, Mark Pearson, What Car? Used Cars Editor said: “The Enyaq has always appealed to us as a smart and desirable SUV. It’s good to drive, comfortable to ride in, extremely practical, and it comes with a decent and very usable electric range. Inside, there’s a smart and well-equipped interior with masses of room, and a large boot, making it a perfect car for families. In short, no other car on our shortlist this year came close to providing the all-round practicality and exceptional value of a used Enyaq.”
The Škoda Plus Approved Used programme offers buyers confidence by combining the brand’s acclaimed reliability with a comprehensive package of benefits. For example, every pre-owned car undergoes a full multi-point inspection (more than 100 checks), comes with a full history and third-party vehicle status check and is backed by one year’s warranty and one year’s roadside assistance. Additionally, the car includes at least six months’ MOT (with the next one free) and a 30-day/1,000-mile exchange policy if a qualifying fault arises.
