MIDDLESBROUGH Theatre Summer Seasons are always packed with quality from start to finish and this year is no different.
The Tees Valley’s Playhouse has drama as far as the eye can see, family shows that will keep your little ones entertained for hours and music that will have you singing all the way home plus much, much more!
Highlights include Big Girls Don’t Cry on Friday, May 26 the internationally acclaimed tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons back by overwhelming demand after two sell-out shows at Middlesbrough Theatre in 2016.
If it’s music that you’re after the season will not disappoint with visits from The Temperance Seven, 80s Mania, Some Guys Have All the Luck the Rod Stewart Story, The Lady Boys of Bangkok and A Night of Dirty Dancing.
Drama is one of the main ingredients for Middlesbrough Theatre and the Summer Season has this covered. The Six Sided Man inspired by the cult novel ‘The Dice Man’ takes to the stage on May 25.
The Six Sided Man is a gripping piece of physical theatre, full of dark menace which creates a sense of inevitability that holds the audience to the very end and is surely one not to miss!
Reform Theatre return in June with Hopeless Romantics a play about internet dating, speed dating, blind dating and Tinder, isn’t it harder not to find someone these days?
H P Lovecraft’s
Shows for all the Family…We have visits from The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Sarah and Duck, Stick Man and we also have Room on the Broom and Alice in Wonderland!
Looking for something a little different? The Lady Boys of Bangkok make their triumphant return in September with their new show Who Runs the World and touring Britain for the first time Circo Cuba Libre explodes on to the stage with all the vitality, unpredictability and excitement of a hot Havana Carnival.
