The organisers of the Festival of Thrift have launched a series of packages to enable organisations to support the event which last year attracted 45,000 visitors.
The Festival, which is the UK’s only national celebration of living sustainably with style and last year won the Observer Ethical Award, is back for the fourth year running on 17 and 18 September at a stunning new venue in the grounds of Kirkleatham Museum near Redcar.
Festival Director Stella Hall said: “This unique, family focussed festival is a celebration of thrifty, common sense living and in its short life has become the pre-eminent national festival on sustainability and thrifty living, offering a fun, engaging weekend to a broad spectrum of visitors.
“It offers a wonderful opportunity for businesses to raise their profile, communicate with a specific audience or help deliver corporate social responsibility goals.”
She added: “We’re taking the Festival on tour this year after three very successful years in Darlington and our new location is an absolute gem of a festival location.
“The previous events have been very successful for the organisations that have partnered with us and this year’s will be no exception.”
The Festival’s co-founders Wayne Hemingway and Gerardine Hemingway said: “We’re looking for brands and partners that can work with us to help deliver important messages about sustainability and cool thrifty living.
“The Festival of Thrift has massive national reach, wins big awards and most importantly attracts almost 50,000 opinion formers every year.
“It’s a dream event to be involved in and we always enjoy working with partners and brands in delivering something that is bespoke and meaningful.”
Partnership sponsorship packages range from £5,000 – £20,000 and include a wide range of benefits. Full details are available at www.festivalofthrift.co.uk/be-a-partner/
