Summer fun at Head of Steam

An open invitation has gone out to children and their families to celebrate the start of the school summer holidays at a special Summer Fun Day at the Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum.

The museum has put together a packed programme of activities for all the family to enjoy during the event, which will be held on Sunday 17 July 2016, from 10am to 4pm.

It promises to be a fun-filled day for all the family with arts and crafts activities, a summer trail around the museum, mini train ride, knock down cans, hook a duck, face painter and magic shows by Tom Rolfe.

Entrance is just £1 and is free for under-5s and family membership pass holders.
