Sunrise Children’s Centre, which is run by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, organised the event to bring local families and their children together to enjoy music and performance from across the world as well as trying new things such as flag making, arts and crafts and cookery demonstrations.
There was also plenty to help the little ones stay active with bungee trampolines plus a range of dance activities.
Councillor Ann McCoy, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “From Bollywood dancing to African drumming there was so much for the children, young people and their families to experience from a wide range of cultures and communities.
“As well as being thoroughly entertained and trying their hand at new activities those families which came along could get information about courses and a wide range of support and activities which take place weekly at Sunrise Children’s Centre.”
