Newcastle based company Newminster Group have advised and brokered talks between influential parties from the Middle East and a leading North East based company.
Meetings took place in Dubai and Sharjah last week between prominent Montreal / Gulf based businessman Yahya Kirdi, Royal Highness Sheikh Saeed al Qasimi and Ken Beattie owner of Techflow Marine based in Cramlington.
After ongoing discussions and numerous visits to the North East by Techflow Marine Middle East Board Member Yahya Kirdi, positive meetings were had by all parties in relation to expanding the market for the export of hose and cable handling systems into the Middle East, Gulf and North Amercia. In addition further business opportunities were explored to open Techflow Marine offices in the said regions.
Mr Beattie stated, “ It was an honour to meet with a man of his Royal Highness stature and influence within the Middle East region. A new business development bridge has been delivered by Mr Kirdi because of his expertise and knowledge of the market and we look forward to developing a long term business relation in this rapidly developing market”
Mr Kirdi, who was involved in a potential takeover of Liverpool Football club in 2010, has also discussed with Newminster Group, other potential Sharjah based projects which could encompass B2B export of goods and services from the North East and in addition plans are in place to bring an inaugural high profile humanitarian event to Newcastle / Gateshead in 2017.
