Stage 3 of the tour starts in Middlesbrough before taking in Great Ayton, Stokesley, Hutton Rudby, Northallerton and Thirsk before climbing up Sutton Bank and heading out of the Hambleton district to Scarborough.
To coincide with this, Hambleton District Council is challenging teams of two, three or four people to cycle the length of the stage – 198km – over two weeks, starting on Monday 18 April and finishing on Sunday 1 May, the day the tour passes through Hambleton.
All teams that complete the challenge will be entered into a prize draw to win a year’s Zest Freedom membership between them.
If you wish to take part in the challenge but are not currently a leisure centre member please visit your local leisure centre to discuss the membership options.
Pick up your entry card from any of the four centres in Bedale, Northallerton, Stokesley or Thirsk.
