Situated in the High Street, Stockton’s new Enterprise Arcade provides low cost, low risk retail space for up to 16 retailers.

The Council is encouraging anyone interested in basing their fledgling business in the Enterprise Arcade to get in touch to find out more about trading opportunities.

New businesses establishing themselves in the Enterprise Arcade also receive a full package of support provided by Retail Development Agency – B-Supplied.

There are currently a wide range of exciting businesses based in the arcade. These include: Quakes for Shakes, The Crafty Factory, Chintzy Cakes, Tarryano Scarf Centre and Accessories, Head for Hats, DW Hughes, Fine Art Gallery, Samantha Grig Knitwear and Expressions Re-Born Babies.

Councillor Mike Smith, Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Transport, said: “The Council is proud to support as many new, independent retailers as possible and we would urge any budding entrepreneurs to consider the Enterprise Arcade as a great place to pilot their business.

“The new Enterprise Arcade has been open for six months and many of the businesses which started life in the Enterprise Arcade have now gone on to their own Town Centre units and are flourishing. We are now looking for new businesses to come forward. With the support from B-Supplied this low cost, low risk option really is the perfect place for fledging retailers to test the local market.”

Situated at 35-37 High Street, The Enterprise Arcade opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5pm. Email enterprisearcade@bsupplied.co.uk or call 01642 605198 to find out more about opportunities at the Enterprise Arcade.
