The University of Sunderland has risen eight places in the new Complete University Guide league table – the highest increase of all the north-east universities.
The University has been ranked 75th for the upcoming academic year compared to its previous position of 83rd.
Sir David Bell, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University of Sunderland, said: “League tables are only one indicator of what happens in the University and should always be treated with caution.
“However, our improved ranking in Complete University Guide 2024 – along with many other accolades that have come our way recently – are indicators of the growing standing and reputation of the University of Sunderland, locally, nationally and internationally.”
Each year, the Complete University Guide releases UK university and subject league tables to support prospective students in making informed decisions about their future. Regional league tables are also on offer to help people find the right university for them in their area.
Prospective students can see the university rankings for their chosen subject and then filter by region, entry standards, student satisfaction, graduate prospects, and more.
By comparing universities using the filters and their chosen metrics, prospective students can start to get a clear picture of which one is right for them.
