Luton – Vauxhall has released a teaser image of the all-new Corsa, one of the most hotly-anticipated new cars to go on sale in 2019, featuring its revolutionary IntelliLux LED headlights, which will be a segment first.
The fifth-generation Corsa will take EV motoring into the mainstream with a battery electric model in the range for the first time, as well as internal combustion engine variants.
The all-new Corsa will be the first car in its class to feature adaptive, glare-free full-LED headlights. Previously seen on Astra and Insignia, Vauxhall’s pioneering glare-free lighting called IntelliLux LED Matrix is technology usually only found in premium cars.
The glare-free matrix headlights, one of which is visible in the teaser image, automatically and continuously adapt to the prevailing traffic conditions. Approaching traffic and vehicles being followed are simply “cut out” of the illuminated area. Glare is minimised and drivers of the new Corsa can enjoy optimum visibility.

Vauxhall will open order banks for two new electrified models in 2019: the all-new Corsa battery electric version (BEV) and the Grandland X plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
A sales sensation since 1993
Corsa has been Vauxhall’s best-selling car for many years, with over 2.1 million Corsas sold in the UK since it launched in 1993. The British buying public are familiar with its name and looks, and have a fondness for its compact dimensions and interior packaging. Corsa is just as popular in Europe with over 13.5 million sold.
