Leading Scotland and North East holiday park operator, Verdant Parks, has its sights set on success in 2026, with over £5 million investment being injected into its park portfolio and a brand identity refresh including a new Verdant Parks positioning.

Verdant Parks which operates 11 holiday parks across Scotland and the North of England, has invested in a rebrand project, which sees each of its individual parks now have their own personal and recognisable identity. The Verdant Parks rebrand has launched via its online channels and the new brand identity aims to celebrate the local community and the region’s nature putting the local heritage of each area front and centre. The rebrand also offers a consistent creative thread for Verdant Parks across digital, social and out of home.

Following the rebrand, Verdant Parks will this year invest £2 million in its lodges, holiday homes and caravan accommodation, with 75 new fleet being introduced in early spring. Among the new fleet will be the launch of Verdant Parks first-ever neurodivergent caravan, which is set to revolutionise the travel experience for neurodiverse holidaymakers of all ages. The new caravan has been specifically designed including sensory lights and floor pads, safety features and a specialist bed plus neurodiverse training for the team for a tailored guest experience. The new caravan will be available from Spring at Riverside Wooler in Northumberland and has been developed with Sunseeker Holiday Homes and My Safe Place.

Within the fleet will also be new four-bed lodges at Riverside Wooler Holiday Park. The business is also introducing its Thurston Manor holiday accommodation Swift’s S-Pod high end pods that sleep four and six. A growing trend in the UK holiday sector, this luxurious glamping style accommodation allows customers to experience the great Scottish outdoors in luxury including features such as mezzanine bedrooms, a modern kitchen, comfortable bathrooms and integrated decks for coverage from the elements and all the luxuries you can get for a break away with family or friends.

Verdant Parks aims to elevate its hospitality offering on site this year, with £1.6 million set to be invested into its Food & Beverage venues including at its Heather View and Riverside parks. Heather View, which is situated at Stanhope in the heart of Weardale and has access to the Durham Dales, will see its current venue transform into The Curious Grouse. This will include a full revamp to its outdoor space, interiors, and facilities including a new soft play with a chance for holidaymakers, owners and local customers to enjoy the breathtaking views down by the idyllic River Wear.

Riverside is set to launch its new food and beverage venue in the spring – The Canny Owl – which will soon feature a bar, restaurant, games room, soft play, outdoor play area, arcade, and a new look swimming pool with new sauna and plunge pool.

Verdant Parks will also launch brand new menus at all its sites, with the aim of these venues becoming destinations where locals can visit, socialise and dine in addition to park guests and holiday homeowners at the parks.

Mike Wilmot, CEO of Verdant Parks, said: “This is a really exciting time for Verdant Parks as we go live with our brand refresh and invest in the facilities and accommodation on our fabulous holiday parks. At Verdant Parks we offer more than a holiday as we offer our guests and owners the opportunity to escape the everyday and find themselves close to nature in our vibrantly Verdant spaces. Our investment in the holiday parks will provide even more opportunities for our guests and owners to have a wonderful stay and spend precious time with themselves, friends and family.

“We’re especially excited to launch our new brand identity to the world and to shine a spotlight on the amazing communities around our parks. Each park’s identity now plays reference to local wildlife and its natural beauty, letting consumers in on each site’s little piece of wonderful.”

Park developments are set to be complete in the early spring, perfectly timed for Easter and peak holiday season and for those wanting to plan a UK staycation. Verdant Parks increased the seasons at most of its parks to 12-months last year, giving holiday homeowners and holiday guests more flexibility in 2026 and the chance to make the most of their home away from home.
