Gateshead-based Vertu Motors plc, the automotive retailer with a network of 125 sales outlets across the UK, has made a significant appointment to its leadership team.
Leon Caruso (41), will take up the important role of Group Operations Director for the Multi-Franchise Division. Leon joins the company from Vauxhall Motors Ltd, where he currently holds the position of Retail Sales Director. He brings with him a vast amount of knowledge and perspective from the manufacturer side of the sector.
Leon is very highly regarded throughout the motor industry and will take on the role of Group Operations Director on 1st November 2018, being responsible for the Multi-Franchise division covering the Peugeot, Hyundai, Toyota and Volvo franchises. He will hold a position on the Group’s main operational board reporting to the CEO.
