191 Media, based at the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) have one of their clients, the Reverend Roland August visiting Sunderland. The Reverend, who is the number one Elvis minister in Vegas is offering couples the chance to have their wedding vows renewed by The King, while he is in the City.
Reverend August is not shy of fame, having appeared in Katy Perry’s music video ‘waking up In Vegas’ and with the help of 191 Media the Mobile Minister’s website now appears on the first page of Google, and takes up to five or six bookings a day through the site.
191 Media became established after business partners Steve Halliman and James Love took the steps to self-employment, James said:
“We currently have 14 clients in Las Vegas from referrals so it made sense to open an office there and expand, 60 per cent of our business is from referrals and word of mouth is king.
“In addition to Roland we are also working on websites for two of the largest chapels in Vegas. The business really has exploded from its beginnings just eight months ago. We are also hoping to launch another office on the East coast later in the year.”
191 Media have employees at various locations in UK, Las Vegas and Los Angles, on explaining what makes their business stand out from the competition, he continues:
“It is all about the support, we don’t just create websites and leave businesses to it. We offer support for 18 months after that and we also guarantee 24 hour promise on any changes.”
191 Media took Open Space membership at the BIC explaining:
“We love the Open Space especially the pod, in there I can deliver presentations to clients in a professional funky environment…and it’s cost effective.”
