Community Area Forum members will discuss a range of topics including crime and community safety with updates given on the latest work and initiatives of Northumbria Police, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Services, Nexus and South Tyneside Homes.
There will also be an update about housing management activity and performance across the Forum area from South Tyneside Homes – the company that manages the Council’s housing stock.
Councillor Olive Punchion, Chairman of West Shields, Cleadon and East Boldon Community Area Forum, said: “Residents are welcome to come along to any of our meetings, which offer them the ideal opportunity to get more information about things that affect their local communities.
“We always talks about a range of issues and, as always, we will be hearing the latest information on the work of our community safety partners and updates from South Tyneside Homes on housing management activity and performance.
“Our meetings are interesting and informative and Thursday’s Forum will be no exception. I’m sure all those who attend will find something of interest to them.”
