intu Eldon Square is looking for community champions who work tirelessly within grassroots sport to support up and coming talent, and to encourage the enjoyment of sport in the North East region.
Tell intu Eldon Square the name of your sporting hero, and explain how he or she makes a difference in the sporting community and they could be treated to a pair of seats to see Scotland v Samoa at the Rugby World Cup!
Customers can nominate their community sporting hero on Facebook by posting on the intu Eldon Square timeline or on one of the North East Sporting Hero campaign posts, on Twitter by tagging @intueldonsquare #NESportHero, and also by simply emailing an entry to eldonsquare.information@intu.co.uk
Each post, tweet or email needs to include a reason why the nominee deserves to be rewarded, and the competition will close on Sunday 27th September.
Phil Steele, General Manager at intu Eldon Square, said:
“Not long now until the people of Newcastle welcome this sell-out sporting event to the city; the excitement is escalating as the games get closer, and we’re delighted to be offering local community sporting heroes the chance to enjoy the Rugby World Cup on home turf.”
