McFLY will now play two nights in Halifax next summer.
Due to a phenomenal demand for tickets for their already announced date at TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall 2026 on Wednesday June 24, it is now announced the band will come to Halifax a day early to perform on Tuesday June 23 as well.
The pop-rock powerhouses, who have just completed the sold-out Busted vs McFLY arena tour, will be joined on both nights by very special guests acclaimed rockers Twin Atlantic and dynamic pop trio Remember Monday.
These highly anticipated shows mark a welcome return to The Piece Hall for the BRIT Award-winning band, who played two sold-out shows at the historic venue in 2024.
Remaining tickets for the Wednesday show, as well as the new Tuesday show are available now via ticketmaster.co.uk
It’s been 22 years since McFLY first burst onto the scene — a journey that’s taken them from their breakthrough hit Five Colours In Her Hair to their 2023 full-throttle rock record Power To Play.
Along the way Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd have scored seven Number 1 singles, seven Top 10 albums, and sold more than 10 million records, leading to multiple Platinum certifications and a BRIT Award for Best British Pop. They’ve sold-out countless arenas and still hold the title as the youngest band to ever have a debut album go straight to Number 1 — famously beating The Beatles.
Last October, the band celebrated their 21st birthday in style with two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena, proving their live appeal burns brighter than ever. And last weekend they completed the sold-out Busted Vs McFLY arena tour – 35 dates which has seen the bands battling it out across the UK, playing to 110,000 people in London alone!
Joining McFLY in Halifax will be Scottish alt-rockers Twin Atlantic, the hitmakers behind Heart and Soul and Brothers and Sisters. Opening the show will be Eurovision stars and TikTok sensations Remember Monday, whose viral anthems What the Hell Just Happened?, Happier and current single More Than Ever, have stormed the charts and racked up millions of streams.
McFLY join the likes of Scissor Sisters, Madness, The Flaming Lips and The Beta Band, Gary Numan, Skunk Anansie and Garbage, James Taylor, Deacon Blue, The Wombats, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Tom Grennan, Shed Seven, Ethel Cain, Embrace, The K’s and Alex James’ Britpop Classical among the headliners announced for TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall 2026 with more announcements to come.
