£1 million site move stacks up success

A leading hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers has demonstrated its commitment to progress with a £1 million investment in its branch network.

Mobile Mini, which has branches throughout the UK, has relocated and expanded its Bristol branch, signalling commitment to the industry and strengthening its regional operations.

The £1 million investment in the move comes after a period of significant growth for the company.

Having outgrown its original site following a surge in demand for its services over recent years, Mobile Mini’s new Bristol branch has moved into a purpose-built, five-acre facility in the Rockingham South business estate in Avonmouth.

With more space, the site will offer many advantages to its customers, such as quicker turnaround times and greater product availability, while also allowing the company to maintain its reputation for excellence in customer service.

The new branch consists of modern office units for employees to work in, a large workshop with state-of-the-art paint spraying and shot blasting equipment, as well as ample space for its growing fleet of storage containers, site accommodation units and delivery vehicles.

All 18 employees have been relocated from the original site and will also enjoy the benefits of a new, modern workspace.

Andrew Thompson, managing director of Mobile Mini said: “This is a very exciting time for us. Almost half of our branches have been relocated or expanded to meet customer demand, securing our place as the leading provider of storage and accommodation units.

“Unprecedented investment in our infrastructure helps us to further improve our world-class customer service, and we’re delighted to be able to bring this improvement to Bristol and the South West.”
