Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

CaptureA North Yorkshire glass firm has marked its five year anniversary by unveiling plans to help generate employment for people in the local area.

Northallerton Glass Ltd – which plans to reinvest its profits by creating more employment opportunities – issued the strong show of faith in the local economy, following another successful year of trading which left it with the opportunity for sustainable growth.

The glass experts specialise in a range of services from flat glass processing to coloured glass and etching, working with a variety of high profile clients all over the region – from Rockcliffe Hall Hotel to The Forbidden Corner in Leyburn.

Owner, Liam Spencer, who has nearly 10 years of experience in the glass industry said: “We’re very lucky to have a strong, long standing relationship with so many local firms. This has led to turnover continuing to increase.

“Profits are being ploughed into a long term growth strategy, which involve us taking on even more staff in the near future and continuing to develop our strategic partnerships.”

Within the past 12 months the company has already made clear its intentions after taking on two members of staff and purchasing two vehicles and updated machinery.

Speaking on how his actions would impact the business, Liam said: “The easy part was deciding to reinvest the profits, the hard work now lies ahead in sustaining the growth. It will no doubt be challenging at times but I know we’ve got the right level of experience in place to make it the correct decision.”
