Local Sports Clubs are being invited to attend a special course next week to help them deliver a successful marketing strategy.
Hambleton District Council in partnership with North Yorkshire Sport is hosting a ‘Club Matters’ workshop on Wednesday 24 February between 6:30 and 8:30pm at the Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton.
Club Matters is Sport England’s one stop shop for sports clubs: it provides free, convenient, practical resources to help develop and run a sustainable club.
“It is vital that sports clubs market themselves appropriately,” said Clare Lowe, Development Officer – Funding and Advice.
“They need to ensure they have the resources they need in order to be sustainable and successful in the long term.
“This free workshop ‘Delivering a Marketing Strategy’ aims to simplify the marketing options available and guide participants through the marketing minefield; helping to attract new members, raise funds or enhance a club’s profile.”
The course is open to anyone involved with a community sports club – places are limited so book you free place now by registering at:
