First Team Manager Ronnie Moore and his Assistant Sam Collins have handed the Club a boost on the eve of the 2015/16 campaign by signing new contracts at Victoria Park.
The management duo have been in talks with the Club’s owners over the summer and put pen to paper on their new deals on Friday afternoon to provide a further lift ahead of the big kick-off.
Moore arrived at the Club in December, immediately appointing Collins to work alongside him, and the pair went on to oversee a dramatic escape from relegation during the closing months of last season.
New Chairman Gary Coxall made no secret of his desire to tie the pair down to longer contracts and made it one of his priorities after leading JPNG’s takeover in June.
After a busy summer of transfer activity during which Pools have recruited ten new players, Moore and Collins will lead the squad in to the season-opener against Morecambe on Saturday.
