Unwritten, one of the North East’s fastest-growing creative agencies, is taking its next steps in brand new offices in Newcastle city centre as it aims to more than triple its turnover.
The business, which has seven staff, was founded in 2014 by Directors Amy Jackson and Lisa Eaton, who have a combined experience of more than 25 years in the industry.
Now, having established the firm and its reputation from premises in Hoults Yard, Unwritten has moved into the listed Citygate House, where it will occupy 1,200 sq ft of space, offering opportunity for growth.
In its first financial year, to March 31, 2015, the company achieved a turnover of £128,000, despite only trading for less than 10 months. It is now on target to take that figure past £400,000 in the current financial year.
Having created and filled two new roles in the past six months, Unwritten is planning on creating more openings in the coming weeks and months, including a Creative Director, Website Developer and Project Manager.
The business is building upon a strong client base, including Newcastle International Airport, the NHS, Akzonobel, NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Tyne & Wear Museums, and Seven Stories.
Unwritten specialises in the creation of design, with a focus on beautiful execution and delivering commercial returns. The business was recently shortlisted for two awards, Best Creative Business and Best New Business, in the2015 North East Women Entrepreneurs of the Year (WIN) Awards.
