A North East fishing company is on the hunt for an ambitious skipper and crew to navigate its new vessel.

Following the open day, the company hopes to appoint a skipper, who will then be involved in appointing the fishing boat’s crew.
Talking about the fantastic opportunity for fishermen in the region, managing director, Greg Horner, said: “This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is ambitious about the fishing industry.
“We expect to receive a lot of interest and it to be a busy day, therefore we ask anyone who is serious about this opportunity to book a slot on the opening day.”
The Pauline Mary is ready to with immediate effect and will use selective and sustainable fishing methods ensuring the highest quality of fish is landed each day, targeting white fish and shell fish depending on seasons.
She is one of two working boats to be overhauled by Jalna Construction, alongside the construction Gracie Ava, with the company currently working on the construction of another 14 metre steel vessel.
