A North East IT company has started its tenth year in business by receiving global recognition for its quality management systems as it advances with its growth plans.
Catterick-based Razorblue Group has met the strict criteria to achieve ISO9001 certification, an internationally recognised industry standard for quality management.
The certification took many months to achieve and requires businesses to continually monitor and improve service delivery, giving confidence to existing and potential customers and opening up new market opportunities.
Last year, Razorblue underwent a management restructure appointing new directors and recruiting a number of new staff as it secured a range of large scale contracts, increasing its team from 25 to 37. The business plans to create at least five more new jobs this year to assist with its growth plans and its new office base in London.
Managing director of Razorblue Group, Dan Kitchen, from Wynyard, said: “We’ve worked hard as a team to gain thiscertification which forms part of our plans for ongoing investment in the business to offer a level of service and price point which constantly outperforms our competitors. Our latest service delivery statistics show that 98.1% of clients rate our service as excellent which is something I am very proud of.
“Last year was Razorblue’s most successful to date as contract revenues grew by 40% which helped us to establish new structures to aid our growth for 2016, our tenth anniversary year. We have a strong team in place, many of whom have been with us since our inception, and we’re creating more jobs this year as well.”
In addition to the new London base, in the City, Razorblue also has an office in Leeds at Airport West Business Park in Yeadon, close to Leeds Bradford Airport
The company, whose HQ is at Colburn Business Park, specialises in managed IT services, cloud, connectivity and business systems for a wide range of SMEs, business parks and public sector organisations across the UK.
In the last half of 2015, Razorblue saw contract revenue grow by around 40% and expects to sustain similar levels of growth this year.
