THE annual Stockton Fireworks Display will take place on Wednesday 5 November 2014. As a result the following road closures and restrictions will be in operation in Stockton Town Centre:
COUNCIL OF EUROPE BOULEVARD – Wednesday 5 November 10.00 – 22.00
Council of Europe Boulevard will be closed for its entire length to both pedestrians & traffic.
Both parking lay-bys on the Teesdale side of Council of Europe Boulevard will be closed between Tuesday 4 November 18.00 and Wednesday 5 November 22.00.
A1305 RIVERSIDE – Wednesday 5 November 17.00 – 22:00
A1305 Riverside will be closed between Tower Street & North Shore Gyratory. Exit from Castlegate car park spiral ramp will be southbound only along Riverside.
NORTH SHORE GYRATORY – Wednesday 5 November 17.00 – 22.00
Full closures will be in operation on A1046 Church Road (westbound from roundabout with Portrack Lane), North Shore Link, North Shore Road & Commercial Street.
Dugdale Street will be closed at roundabout with Portrack Lane/Church Road.
A1305 MARITIME ROAD – Wednesday 5 November 18.00 – 20.30
A1305 Maritime Road will be closed between Portrack Lane and A1046 Church Road.
Closure of Bath Lane (between Neasham Close and Maritime Road) and Church Road (at its junction with Maritime Road/Gyratory) – 18.30 – 20.30
BISHOP STREET AREA – Wednesday 5 November 18.00 – 20.30
Full closures will be in operation on Bishop Street, Silver Street, Calverts Lane & Knowles Street. Partial closures of The Square and Thistle Green (south of Municipal Buildings car park / Police Station) will also be in operation.
Access to and from Bishop Street car parks will not be available during this time.
CAR PARK CLOSURES:
Riverside Car Park – Full car park closure 18:00 on 4 November to 06:00 on 6 November.
Riverside Road layby (Outside Castlegate centre) – Parking suspended from 06:00 until 22:00 on 5 November.
Silver Street on street parking bays will be closed between 06:00 – 22:00 on 5 November.
Bishop Street and Bishop Street West Car Parks – Full closure between 17.30 and 20.30 on 5 November.
