A Doncaster-based web development agency is making its mark globally with its work being recognised by a worldwide awarding body.
MultiWebMarketing – the smart creators behind the internationally recognisable website JCB Contractor & Landscaping – not only has a happy client on its hands but can lay claim to its work being the best in the business after winning the award for best eCommerce site, best visual design and user experience.
This impressive achievement was judged by the Vega Awards which runs annually and celebrates the very best brought forth by the world’s digital architects and craftsmen.
The awards recognise excellence in websites, video, mobile, social, animation, marketing and Podcasts – across local and international fields.
Paul Smith, Managing Director at MultiWebMarketing said: “It’s a special moment when your agency is appointed to one of the UK’s biggest and brightest multi-billion revenue businesses, a true global brand present in over 100 countries. So yes, I can say that I was delighted that our agency was appointed to a JCB website project. Nearly one year in we’re still providing our award winning ‘All Inclusive Marketing’ helping the new Ecommerce website reach new lofty heights.”
Winning the Best UK Ecommerce Website 2022 means a great deal and certainly helps cement our credentials as one of the best Ecommerce and Lead Gen web design agencies on the UK. The Vega Awards, arguably the Oscars of digital design and marketing.’
The website launched in October 2021 and was a challenge for the six-strong technical team who brought the project together because not only did it need to provide an easy-to-use platform for the purchase of trade tools such as forks, shovels and spades to the construction industry and handy home DIYers but also needed to strictly adhere to the brand guidelines set out by JCB.
“It was an exciting project to be involved in as it is for such a large global company and shows we can deliver solutions for all sizes of business,” said Operations Director Adrian Blatherwick.
Total Product and Services Limited Director Keith Hanson, who was responsible for working alongside MultiWebMarketing to produce the platform, was delighted with the website and the results it is already achieving.
He said: “The best thing I can say about the production of the website is how simple and efficient the process was made.
“We got a professional recommendation to MultiWebMarketing and the website they delivered was clean and clear. From start to finish, the focus was on making products easy to buy for consumers visiting.
“It’s also been built in a way which makes it easy to add new products over time but right now I look at it and can’t see any areas for improvement.”
The award-winning website was delivered across an eight-week window and involved content creation, visual design and optimisation work, to help the website rank highly on Google searches. Top of the priority list for the client was visual impact and SEO effectiveness.
