Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Awards employing an air of anticipation

Employees from around the region are preparing for an evening of glamour courtesy of the North East Employee of the Year Awards to be held on Friday (July 14th).

The awards ceremony, now in its second year, will welcome over 200 guests to the Grand Marquee at Wynyard Hall Hotel, and is an opportunity for staff at all levels to be rewarded for their hard work.

Promising an evening of entertainment, the event will showcase many aspects of employee talent with awards including Unsung Hero, Young Employee and Outstanding Service to celebrate the fantastic efforts of those nominated.

Companies from across the North East are represented in the shortlist including holiday giant Hays Travel, transport guru Go North East and para-planners Para-Sols.

Being run in partnership with Tesco Underwriting with additional sponsors Harvey & Hugo, KMS Partners, Smart Utility and Human Group, the ceremony gives the opportunity for those working behind the scenes of businesses to stand up and be recognised.

Leading North East event management company, She’s Gott It!, has organised the popular event. Managing Director, Nickie Gott, said: “We wanted to create an opportunity to recognise the hard work of employees individually, something there was a strong demand for amongst business leaders from across the region.

“We would like to say a big thank you to those who took the time to nominate their colleagues and teams, it was great to read so many fantastic stories of the wonderful people working to achieve success for North East businesses.”
