A meeting of South Tyneside Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating and Call In Committee will be held tomorrow (Tuesday 12 April).
At the meeting, members will receive a joint presentation from the Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS England about Primary Care Services in South Tyneside and their latest work.
The Committee will also receive a progress report on South Tyneside’s Adult Safeguarding Board detailing the positive progress that has been made by the Board.
Councillor Rob Dix, Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating and Call-in Committee said: “Ensuring that services are meeting the needs of residents across the Borough is a key priority of the Council. Local people are welcome to come along to the meeting to find out about the work of the Council and the Borough’s health organisations and what steps are being to keep them and theirfamilies safe and healthy.”
Members of the public are invited to attend the next meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating and Call-In Committee, which takes place on Tuesday 12 April, at 10am, at Jarrow Town Hall.
