RESIDENTS in Redcar and Cleveland are being asked for their views on the future of council services as part of an online survey.
The survey will provide local community groups, partners and the public with the opportunity to shape what the council will look like in the future as budgets continue to shrink.
The survey complements a number of community workshop events which have been taking place across the borough this week.
Leader of Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, Cllr Sue Jeffrey said:
“We’ve already had invaluable conversations in recent years with residents as part of the Shaping Our Future programme.
“The online survey, which will take about 15 minutes to complete, builds on this work and provides the opportunity to gain a more detailed understanding of what people value and how they would like to see the council operate in the future.
“The reality is that with less money to spend on services we need to change and it is important that our residents have the opportunity to be involved in the creation of our policies and the delivery of valued public services.”
