Darlington Libraries promises a fun-packed programme of events for the whole family this Easter.

Visitors young and old can scour the book shelves to hunt down the hidden Easter Eggs throughout the school holidays at Crown Street Library.

There are also two special drawing workshops with artist Liz Million and the chance to get crafty at two springtime craft sessions, as well as a special author event with writer and blogger Mandy Sutter.

The Dogs Trust will also be hosting two special events as part of National Pet Month offering pet owners and animal lovers the chance to learn about their animals and get health and training advice.

Councillor Nick Wallis, Darlington Borough Council’s Cabinet member for Leisure and the Local Environment, said:

“There’s always plenty to capture the imagination in our libraries with books unlocking the door to a whole host of new things, whether real or in the imaginations of the authors. Our events programme aims to encourage visitors, young and old, to have fun while learning something new.”
