Leading North East aesthetic clinic, Newcastle Skin Clinic has been chosen as the exclusive skincare partner for a Miss World competitor in the lead up to the prestigious final later this year.

Alisha Cowie, from Spennymoor, County Durham was crowned Miss England 2018 in September and has stayed close to home working alongside Luisa Scott, clinical director at Newcastle Skin Clinic to prepare her skin ahead of the Miss World Competition in China this December.

Luisa, entrepreneur and one of the most sought-after aesthetic nurses and skincare specialists in the UK, has created a bespoke treatment and tailor-made skincare plan for the 18-year-old.

Over the next few months, Alisha will be meeting with Luisa regularly at her London and Newcastle-based clinics for a range of non-invasive treatments including the Instagrammable WOW Facial. The six step LED light therapy uses advanced medical technology and products with innovative formulations to enhance each different quality of the skin, with results lasting up to six months.

Alongside this, the reigning Miss England will be complementing her results using products from Newcastle Skin Clinic’s brand new elite skincare range, curated by Luisa herself. The signature range is designed to help combat skin concerns, maximise treatment results and revitalise and maintain healthy skin on a daily basis.

Commenting on the partnership, Luisa said: “I am thrilled to be working alongside Miss England and be part of her journey to Miss World. Here at Newcastle Skin Clinic we help inspirational women every day look and feel their best, and we can’t wait to help a local lass like Alisha make her mark on a global stage.

“Protecting the skin from an early age is key to maintaining elasticity and a healthy appearance in the long term. As England’s big ticket entry to the Miss World competition, Alisha will have a busy and hectic schedule for the new few months so it was important that we kept her regime simple and easy to stick to while she’s on the go.”

Alisha added: “With so many products and treatments out there I wanted to ensure that I was working with the best in the lead up to the Miss World pageant. After having a consultation with Luisa at Newcastle Skin Clinic, she advised a consistent regime that would work for my dry skin and result in a healthy glow.

“I embrace skin health rather than beauty and am looking forward to seeing lasting results and working with Luisa over the coming months.”

The Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place in Sanya, China on December 8, 2018.
