The deadline to apply for a community fund offered by leading housebuilder Miller Homes to Teesside charities, is fast approaching.
Originally launched in autumn 2022, ten charities and community groups have already received donations including Backstreet Theatre and St John’s Church in Middlesbrough.
During 2023, a total of £10,000 will be donated to local charities across the region with the first round of applications to be chosen soon.
“We really enjoyed reading all our applications and it was tough deciding on which groups to make the donations too,” said Donna Clark, Associate Sales Director, Miller Homes Teesside. “We hope that many more will take advantage of the next round of applications and share their requests with us.
Applications are now being welcomed and will close on 3rd May 2023.
Groups can apply for a donation ranging between £250 minimum up to a maximum of £2000. The donation should be to help enhance the lives of individuals and the areas in which they live.
Donna continued; “There are so many amazing groups making such a difference in communities across Teesside and being able to help ensure this work continues is fantastic.”
The fund will focus on causes that are linked to education, promote wellbeing, promote the environment, and encourage participation in sport.
Two funding rounds will take place each year in June and November.
Each of Miller Homes’ ten regional offices across the UK will have its own £10,000 fund, which combined will contribute £100,000 to community initiatives across the country every year.
