ONE of Tyneside’s most opulent bars is breaking up the week with a special bottomless brunch deal.
From Sunday through to Friday, groups of friends, family members or colleagues can enjoy unlimited drinks for 90 minutes at Leila Lily’s, at Grey Street.
And, along with the traditional options of prosecco and Aperol Spritz, they can enjoy a trio of fruit flavoured cocktails at the venue, which is owned by Malhotra Group plc.
Sweet Leila is a blend of Tanqueray gin, fraise, strawberrry and lemonade, while James and the Boozy Peach is a combination of Cazcabel Blanco Tequila, Archers, Aperol, peach, orange and lemonade.
Last of the Summer Wine rounds off the hat trick and features Courvoisier cognac, orange, mulled Shiraz and lemonade, while a variety of non alcoholic drinks, including wines, a mocktail, lager and cider is also available.
The midweek bottomless brunch deal also includes three small plates per person, from a menu carefully created by the venue’s AA rosetted team of chefs.
These include crispy spiced beef with chilli mango sauce, tempura king prawns with wasabi, chicken goujons, salt and pepper squid, grilled halloumi, roasted beetroot hummus and spicy patatas bravas.
Side dishes such as mixed leaf salad, triple cooked chips, fries and onion rings can also be purchased for an additional cost and Matt Stephenson, business manager at Leila Lily’s, said the midweek bottomless brunch is the “perfect choice to celebrate something special – or just toast the end of the working day.
“As the nights draw in and we all start to gear up for the festive season, there is something rather magical about a midweek get together,” he said.
“Particularly when you can enjoy delicious drinks and fine food in a sumptuous setting at the heart of the city.”
The midweek bottomless brunch is priced at £32.50 pp and to book, or for further information, visit https://leilalilys.co.uk/our-venue
