Pay what you decide to find your future favourite artists at December’s ‘From The Glasshouse’ gig. Whether they’re getting local hype, or playing the North East for the first time, you’ll discover artists to get excited about.
Take the plunge and find out who’s going to be the next big thing. December’s line up features: The Early Purple, Lovely Assistant and Steff Mundi.
The Early Purple is led by Northumbrian indie-folk musician Matt Saxon. Combining Fleet Foxes’ allure with Midlake’s depth, their sound features three-part vocal harmonies, finger-picking acoustic guitars, ethereal synths, and gentle driving percussion.
Lovely Assistant’s members hail from Newcastle, Northumberland, Leeds and London. They were brought together as a genre-defying four-piece by the Newcastle music scene, meeting at gigs and venues back in 2018.
Steff Mundi is a singer/songwriter, musician and producer based in the North East. Her music pulls from genres like Folk, Jazz, Lo-fi indie Pop and IDM. She’s known for a hybrid of acoustic and electronic music that Narc claimed ‘a masterful stroke of writing’.
