Artist: Uriel Pascucci
Single: Pavane for a Dead Princess Ravel 150 years Tribute
Award-winning pianist, composer, and music producer Uriel Pascucci releases a moving new interpretation of Maurice Ravel’s iconic piece, Pavane for a Dead Princess, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the French composer’s birth. The release is part of Pascucci’s broader mission to explore classical works with renewed depth while blending his Argentinian roots, improvisational flair, and modern production sensibilities.
Originally composed in 1899, Ravel’s Pavane is a slow and graceful dance that conjures images of the Spanish court and Renaissance elegance. Pascucci’s rendition is rich in nuance and emotion — recorded at the serene Musikinsel Rheinau in Switzerland and captured on video by Tom Maeder — offering listeners an immersive and intimate experience of Ravel’s timeless beauty.
