ALL WELCOME AT JARROW AND BOLDON FORUM
People living in the Jarrow and Boldon areas of South Tyneside can find out what is happening in their local neighbourhoods when their Community Area Forum meets next week.
Crime and community safety is just one of the topics up for discussion with updates given on the latest work and initiatives of Northumbria Police, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, Nexus and South Tyneside Homes.
Members will also receive a report informing on the main areas of activity and issues in relation to South Tyneside Homes.
Councillor Jim Perry, Chairman of the Jarrow and Boldon Community Area Forum, said: “Our meetings are an ideal opportunity for people to find out what is happening in their local communities.
“We talk about a wide range of issues and the community area forum provides residents with information and updates about projects and issues within Jarrow and Boldon.
“I would encourage residents to come along and find out more about their local area.”
Members of the press and are welcome to attend the meeting, which takes place at 5pm, on Thursday 7 July, at Boldon Community Association, New Road, Boldon Colliery.
