Whitley Bay-based North East aesthetics specialist Dr Susan Hunter has received double international recognition for her expertise in facial aesthetics, after being named Best Lip Sculpting and Best Full Face Rejuvenation winner at this year’s International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) Awards.
Dr Hunter, who also practices at Honour Health in Jesmond, was the only practitioner worldwide to take home two titles this year – and has now won the Best Lip Sculpting award for two consecutive years. The IAAFA Awards are judged blind by a panel of leading global clinicians, celebrating innovation, artistry and safety in aesthetics.
Dr Hunter originally trained as a dentist, qualifying before specialising in facial aesthetics in 2010. She has trained with world leaders in the field and holds a Level 7 Masters in Aesthetic Medicine. Over the past two years, she has developed her own thriving independent business, Hunter Aesthetics, offering a comprehensive range of advanced, non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
Alongside her aesthetic practice, Dr Hunter is also an experienced dentist based at Honour Health, an award-winning dental clinic in Jesmond, where she is a Platinum Elite Invisalign Practitioner with a special interest in cosmetic and holistic dentistry.
Speaking about her achievement, Dr Hunter said:
“It’s an incredible honour to be recognised among some of the most respected practitioners in the world. Winning two international awards judged purely on clinical outcomes is a wonderful validation of the high standards and care we provide. I’m proud to bring award-winning techniques and results to clients here in Whitley Bay and further afield.”
Her signature approach centres on natural, confidence-boosting results tailored to each individual client – with a focus on artistry, balance and patient safety.
The IAAFA Awards attract practitioners from around the world, with entries assessed on technical excellence, innovation and aesthetic outcome.
