Hoults go back to the future with rebrand
A COMPANY running a collection of innovative business centres and unique meeting spaces has gone back to the future with its new branding.
For the last few years serviced office spaces at Hoults Yard, Hypoint and Haylofts have been successfully run under the HyHubs brand.
The company is headquartered at Hoults Yard in Byker, a creative business village on the site of the former Maling factory which produced pottery for export around the world.
In 2018, Haylofts, a £1.5m conversion of the old Deuchar brewery stables in central Newcastle, and Hypoint, the former Gear House business centre on Saltmeadows Road, Gateshead, were added to the portfolio of ‘properties with personality.’
Now the company is returning to its Hoults identify while updating all of its branding.
Louise White, Marketing Manager at Hoults, said: “We were commissioning a new website and as part of that process looked at our wider brand strategy. We realised that everyone refers to us as Hoults, which is such a readily-recognised name across the region because of the history around Hoults Yard, which was also home to Hoults Removal until it was sold by the Hoult family to Pickfords in 1983.
“We have a name and a heritage to be proud of, so we decided to rebrand completely, and all of our signage and logos now incorporate the new Hoults brand.”
Hoults commissioned Newcastle-based branding and creative agency Vida Creative for the rebrand.
Louise added: “The Vida team were brilliant to work with, especially Account Director Rachel Robson. They were always on the front foot and understood the brief perfectly. They’ve come up with a brand identity that nods to our proud heritage but is also forward looking and ambitious.
“We’re also grateful for the generous support from NBSL who were also very easy to deal with.
“We’re always ready and waiting for prospective tenants to pop in for a cuppa. We have spaces available at Hoults Yard, limited space at Haylofts and also at our Blackfriars offices on Dispensary Lane. We’ve recently upgraded many of our Hypoint offices too, and they’re proving very popular!”
