ANYONE wanting to spoil their mum this Mother’s Day will also be spoilt for choice, as Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa unveils four different ways to celebrate.
The acclaimed County Durham hotel has come up with a variety of options to mark the special day, with three choices of venue for lunch along with afternoon tea.
The hotel’s Rib Room will be hosting a special Sunday lunch on 15 March, with a two course option priced at £28 and £35 for three courses.
Diners can choose from a range of starters such as prawn cocktail, ham hock terrine and three cheese souffle, followed by a number of roast options, complete with all the trimmings.
Anyone who still has room can also indulge in a choice of classic desserts such as sticky toffee pudding, Eton Mess and chocolate brownie sundae.
The hotel’s Bishop’s Suite is also being transformed for Mother’s Day, with a three course menu at £29.95 for adults and £19.95p for children and live entertainment.
Dishes on offer include starters of leek and potato soup and melon and parma ham salad and mains such as roast topside of beef, chicken and leg of lamb, with vegetarian options also available.
Families wanting to celebrate in a more informal style can select to eat at Charcoa, Ramside’s stylish carvery where there is a huge range of dishes on offer, from homemade pizzas to dishes from the grill, which come with fries and the salad bar.
Advance bookings aren’t available for Charcoa, so is the perfect choice for anyone making a last minute decision to eat out.
For those who prefer to celebrate later in the day, the hotel is hosting a special Mother’s Day afternoon tea in the Ballroom, which is available from 12.30pm.
Priced at £29.95 per adult and £19.50 per child, it includes a range of savoury and sweet treats including sandwiches, scones and cakes, plus a glass of fizz – with live music to add a bit of magic to the occasion.
