A TOP County Durham spa is celebrating its 11th birthday with a whole host of special deals and offers for everyone to enjoy.
Award-winning Ramside Spa, at Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa near Durham is marking its latest landmark with a range of special birthday vouchers which go on sale on Monday (10 August).
And while the vouchers will only be available to purchase up until 10pm on the 15 August, they can be redeemed anytime up to 15 November 2026.
The spa has put together a number of special packages from exclusive savings on overnight stays with spa use, dinner and a treatment to experiences designed to help improve sleep.
Fay Pratt, Spa Director at Ramside, said the aim was to have something for everyone.
“At Ramside Spa we always like to mark our birthday by giving everyone something to celebrate,” she said.
“And hopefully we’ve done that again with our special range of vouchers and special events which will be running throughout our birthday week.”
Among the deals available are Timeless Beauty, which runs from 10am until 2pm and includes use of the spa facilities and a 55-minute treatment from a choice of three – an Elemis Expert Touch Facial, Ramside Swedish Massage or an Elemis Expert Absolute Face and Body Ritual.
The package includes a welcome drink and brunch in Fusion Asian restaurant and costs £149 (Mon to Thurs) and £169 (Friday to Sunday).
For anyone who wants to extend the experience, the birthday deals include 25 per cent discount on the Make My Stay package.
People who opt for this will get an overnight stay in a Premier room, spa access on the day of arrival until noon on the day of checkout and a luxury 55-minute treatment.
It includes a £50 dinner allowance per couple in either Fusion Restaurant or the hotel’s Rib Room, followed by a spa brunch in Fusion the following day.
Make My Stay costs £366.75 (Monday to Thursday) and £404.25 (Friday to Sunday) per couple.
During the birthday week itself, the spa has lined up a whole host of special promotions – including the Elemis Ultimate Skincare event.
Ramside has partnered with luxury brand Elemis from day one and this celebration – taking place on 12 August – will showcase the Ultra Smart range, a personalised prescription for each attendee and welcome drink and refreshments.
It will run for two sessions – at 10am and noon – and costs £25 a ticket, with £20 redeemable against any products purchased on the day.
That same evening the focus will be on sleep, with an Elemis Future Restorative Sleep workshop.
Guests are encouraged to come in comfy lounge wear and will showcase an evening skin and eye ritual, exclusive preview of Elemis’ new products, teas and refreshments and a personalised prescription.
Tickets are also £25, with £20 redeemable against products bought on the night.
Sleep will also be the focus of a special event on Friday 14 August, where the principles of Yoga Nidra have been adapted in a SEABODY Nidra experience.
This is designed to downshift the nervous system and get people ready for sleep.
SEABODY is one of Ramside’s signature spa ranges and the event will guide people through movement and flow, while intergrating six proprietary Seabody sensory touchpoints from their Drift and Dream ritual.
Along with the sleep yoga and meditation, attendees can find out more about Seabody and will enjoy a two course dinner at Fusion.
Tickets are £65 per person for spa members and £90 for non-members and includes full use of the spa, along with a two-course dinner in Fusion.
Each person who attends the class has an opportunity to redeem £25 of their ticket value against one of the exclusive SEABODY treatments, which must be booked on the day.
The final event of the birthday week is on 15 August, with a SEABODY movement class.
Guests will be able to join a movement and stretch session – with the added luxury of SEABODY products – find out more about the range and have a brunch at Fusion restaurant.
The cost for members is £60 and £85 for non-members which includes use of the spa and the opportunity to redeem £25 on a SEABODY treatment booked on the day.
