THE site of the North East’s leading spookiest attractions is adding an extra special element to this year’s event – with a one off day for families.
Lintz Hall Farm has become the go-to venue every autumn, as the home of the award-winning scare park Psycho Path and its family-friendly version – Family Fright Fest.
And now organisers have teamed up with events’ specialists, Let’s Party Events, for a “spooktacular” day of Halloween entertainment, live performances and interactive activities.
Kidzville will run for one day only on 29 October, when between 11am and 4pm youngsters and their families can enjoy an action-packed programme of entertainment.
That includes five specially created stage shows by the team from Let’s Party Events, covering everything from songs from best-loved musicals to tributes to K-Pop to Techno Ravers, a stage-based sensory experience where nursery rhymes and party classics get remixed with techno beats.
Visitors can also enjoy creative stations, face painting, fairground rides and street food – just a few of the activities taking place.
Young people will all receive an LED glow stick and will get the opportunity to have meet and greets with a range of characters, get access to the Creative Cove activity zone along with the Cosy Cauldron Lair.
Attendees are also encouraged to turn up in fancy dress – with prizes on offer for the best ones.
Olivia Shaftoe, Director of Let’s Party Events, said it was going to be a very special event.
“ Let’s Party Events has more a decade of experience in the events industry, specialising in family entertainment,” she said.
“With Lintz Hall Farm having a fantastic track record and great location, we believe we have found the perfect partner to launch Kidzville this October. Planning and preparation is well underway and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on.”
Nigel Holliday, one of the co-directors of Psycho Path and Family Fright Fest echoed her words.
