Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Ged WalshCounty Durham Housing Group is proposing to build eight new homes at Folly Terrace, Pity Me on the outskirts of the city centre.

Between 5pm and 7pm on Monday, 1 August at Woodbine Road Community Centre residents can hear more about the plans as well as look at site maps, artist impressions and street scenes.

The development is part of the group’s commitment to building 700 new homes within seven years, following its establishment in 2015 with local landlords Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes.

Ged Walsh, Director of Assets and Regeneration, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to continue with our new build ambitions to deliver affordable homes to local people unable to access properties on the open market.”
