Arenacross Tour 2018 – Local 14 Year Old Buster Hart Competes on Home Turf

METRO RADIO ARENA, NEWCASTLE SATURDAY 13TH JANUARY 2018

Local 14-year-old dirt biker, Buster Hart has high hopes for success when he competes on his home turf at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena in the second round of the Arenacross World Tour.

On Saturday 13th of January, the talented youngster will start his campaign to win the AX 2018 Super Mini Title. The Newcastle local is no stranger to the indoor racing series, in 2014 he claimed a well-deserved first place in the 65cc class having ridden in front of over 60,000 throughout the tour, including his classmates!

Hart has taken a year out of racing the series whilst he progressed onto a big-wheeled 85cc motocross bike to make sure he comes into the 2018 tour on top form. The 85cc class will bring new challenges and competitors but the Farringdon Community sports college student (who started riding at the age of 2), has won 5 motocross championships nationally. He is also sitting in the top 10 at European level in the Netherlands!

Buster Hart: “I love racing Arenacross, I love the tracks, atmosphere and competition. The goal is to come back to win the series and it would be awesome to win in-front of my home crowd. I really want everyone from Newcastle to come down and support me as there is nothing like having a home crowd cheer you on!”

Sean Hart: “This season Buster will come back as a serious contender to win the AX 2018 Super Mini Title. Arenacross has such an electrifying atmosphere we love racing, it is one of those events where all the races are intense and there is something for everyone. Buster has grown up in this series, it is so good for young racers to inspire other children into racing. At the moment we are training down in Wheeldon Farm in Devon to prepare for the races. We are looking forward to coming back to our home town and I just hope everyone gets behind him“

Arenacross is making a welcome return to Newcastle, after a year hiatus from the city. The Metro Radio Arena is transformed into an adrenaline filled race track by adding over 5000 tonnes of dirt. The track consists of many jumps, tight corners and fast straights to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Come down and support Buster as he battles against European and UK elite
