Autonomous FM Launch autoAnalytics To Accelerate the Use of Big Data Analytics in the Facilities Sector

Newcastle based facilities management integrator, Autonomous FM, has launched autoAnalytics, an integrated technology solution to introduce Facilities Managers to dedicated big data analytics and business intelligence reporting for the facilities sector.

Last year’s RICS report titled ‘Big Data – A New Revolution in the UK FM Sector’ highlighted that over 70% of FM’s in the UK were either in the pre-adoption or early adoption stages of implementing a big data management strategy.

autoAnalytics is available free of charge to any facilities professional as we look to accelerate the use of big data analytics on an industry-wide scale. The solution analyses clients current facilities data through BI reporting to highlight trends, benchmark against current industry standards, and identify gaps in data collection to inform future strategies.

Gary Barbour, Director at Autonomous FM, commented: “As we look to disrupt the facilities sector even further, our experience and expertise in data analytics and reporting can be a real driving force to improve the sector as a whole.”

“There is a misconception within the FM industry that implementing big data analytics is time-consuming and expensive,” Gary continued, “It really isn’t. We are looking to introduce facilities management professionals to the plethora of tools available and best practice in data collection to kick-start the revolution”.

Until now, autoAnalytics was exclusive to users of our Integrator model who benefit significantly from real-time reporting and strategic decision making that has driven improved service delivery, innovation, and cost efficiencies of 30% on average.

Andrew Gill, Facilities Manager for global not-for-profit organisation Tearfund, said, “Until we started working with Autonomous, data analytics hadn’t formed part of our long-term plan. Now we have seen the value and benefits that improved data management has delivered; we really couldn’t see ourselves working in any other way”.
