Award winning digital company moves into new Newcastle office

A young award-winning North East company is blasting off into 2019 with a new office to house their expanding team and growing client base.

Nebula Labs, a Newcastle based software house, won the accolade of Best New Business 2018 in the Dynamite Awards, is off to a flying start for the new year with an office move, new clients, and a new brand look.

Co-founders Dylan McKee and Nic Flynn, both 23, set up the business after University to focus on providing innovative digital solutions for clients ranging from start-ups to large corporate organisations. In their first year they worked on a wide variety of projects, including festival apps, tourism platforms, the control system for an audio art installation, and smart ticketing solutions for public transport providers.

January has seen Nebula Labs move to a bigger office in Carliol Studios, Newcastle, and start the search for more talent to add to the current team of five, having secured new clients for the new year. Local branding studio Layers has also helped create a new look and refreshed brand for Nebula Labs.

Founder Dylan McKee said, “We had an amazing first year, it’s been fantastic working on some amazing and interesting projects with a wide range of great clients, and we were honoured to also win a prestigious award. We love being able to work on solutions that excite and challenge us and we’re looking forward to more of that this year. We’re passionate about being based in the north east and are aiming to be able to offer our support to more clients within and beyond the region, from our new home in Carliol Square.”
