Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Awards set to showcase employee talent in the North East

Employees from around the region are to be celebrated at the third annual North East Employee of the Year Awards to be held at Ramside Hall Hotel, County Durham.

Individuals are urged to nominate colleagues they feel make an invaluable contribution to their businesses for the range of awards including, the Leadership Award, Unsung Hero, PA of the Year and Best Apprentice.

Nominations from managers, directors and board members are welcomed for employees who deserve special recognition, or who have already been awarded internally by the company.

The evening will culminate with the presentation of the coveted ‘North East Employee of the Year’ award, which is selected from all category winners.

Tesco Underwriting have returned for a third year running to partner the event as headline sponsor.   Paul Pancham, Claims Director said: “I’m very happy that we’re sponsoring this fantastic event for the third year in a row.  Having attended last year’s ceremony, it’s an honour to be part of an event that celebrates the breadth and depth of talent that the North East has to offer.  I’d strongly encourage other North East companies to get involved and take the opportunity to put a spotlight on their employees’ achievements!”

Heading into its third year, the programme was founded by leading North East event management company, She’s Gott It!, following the decision by leading local businesses to showcase the talent of the region’s employees.

She’s Gott it! Event Manager, Sie Francis, said: “The awards add a great deal of value to the region, as there are no other ceremonies in the North East that offer a platform to shout about employee success.

“Being able to bring the event back for a third year is very exciting and it means so much to have Tesco Underwriting as our headline sponsor once again. We’re keen to get as many businesses from around the North East involved as sponsors or supporters to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.”
