Beauty and the Beast take to the stage in Bishop Auckland

CaptureAn evil witch will cast her spell over Bishop Auckland Town Hall as the pantomime season kicks off with a production of Beauty and the Beast.

The magical story tells of a handsome young prince cursed to become a monster and the beautiful Belladonna whose love can save him.

But to find out if she can see the man behind the mane, families will have to visit the Durham County Council run venue between 28 November and 1 December.

With bags of comedy mishaps, dances and songs, action, adventure and a sprinkling of romance, Bishop Auckland company Fame Factory Spotlight’s show is a fast-paced and hilarious pantomime that children and adults will love.

Performances take place on Saturday 28 November at 2pm and 6pm, Sunday 29 November at 2pm, Monday 30 November at 10.30am and 1.30pm, and Tuesday 1 December at 1.30pm.

Tickets are priced £8, or £6 for concessions.

To book visit the Bishop Auckland Town Hall box office between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, or call 03000 269 524.
