Bedale is busy preparing for its first visit from the Tour de Yorkshire next week.
The race enters Bedale on 5 May before continuing to Northallerton and Thirsk as the riders journey from Richmond to Scarborough on the third day of the tour.
Residents, local businesses and organisations are all encouraged to join forces on Sunday (29 April) to help Bedale look its best.
The ‘spring clean’ organised by the Bedale & Villages Community Forum in partnership with Hambleton District Council, Bedale Town Council, Brand Bedale and Bedale businesses is taking place from 7am to 3pm.
Residents and businesses are invited to meet at Bedale Hall – refreshments will be available and shifts of two hours are recommended.
